Snuggle up and get cozy and comfortable. Stretch out your arms and legs. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Close your eyes and breathe in like you are smelling a beautiful bouquet of flowers and out like you are blowing out birthday candles.  Breath in…… and out… When we feel our emotions are out of control remember that something you can always control is your breath. 
 
As you are breathing in and out let your eyes close gently. Imagine yourself outside on a beautiful day. What do you see around you? What do you hear? What do you smell? Paint a picture in your mind…
 
Imagine you find a seed and plant it in the ground. The seed grows quickly into a strong tree. You can easily climb the tree. As you reach the top you see people waiting for you. These are people you know and that love you very much. They tell you something important and something they want you to always remember. Their words are kind. What do they say to you? How does it make you feel? As you say goodbye their hugs feel like warm sunshine. You safely slide down the tree and settle comfortably in the soft grass.
 
As you lay down you feel your whole body relax. Any worries you have in your head melt down your neck…. Down your shoulders…..down your arms...down your hands and then the worries and stress flow out of your fingertips as you take a big beautiful exhale. 
 
Say something kind to yourself. Something that makes you special. Remember: you are special, you are so loved- just as you are.
