Parade of Costumes
Friends of Karen and the Childhood Cancer Alliance of Connecticut members, a community of organizations supporting children with cancer will be spreading holiday cheer by parading in costumes outside of Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven and on the front lawn of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford this Tuesday December 1st. Members of the alliance will be dressed in costumes in front of Smilow Cancer Hospital on Park St. at 10:30 a.m., and will parade again that day at Children’s Medical Center in Hartford located at 282 Washington St. at 3:00 p.m. The alliance members are hoping this costume parade will bring smiles, joy and laughter to children hospitalized during this season as well as the healthcare workers caring for them.
