Laura Salerno-Evans became involved with Friends of Karen as a teenager after attending the organization’s annual gala. She later joined the New York City Advisory Board in 2011 and soon after, helped establish the Next Generation Leadership Group to bring awareness of Friends of Karen among other young professionals. She began serving on the Board of Directors in 2016 and is passionate about supporting Friends of Karen’s critical mission – to help keep families stable, functioning, and able to cope.

Laura resides in Manhattan and works as a communications and media relations strategist.
