When you participate in the Friends of Karen Back to School program, you give parents peace of mind and ensure children will be prepared for school, feel well taken care of and hopeful to start the new year.

Your support makes all the difference.

We plan to give every child – ill children and their siblings – a backpack filled with the supplies essential for a successful school year. We need gift cards to Target, Amazon, Walmart and Staples to purchase special things some children need, in addition to all the items on the wish list enclosed. If you’d prefer not to shop, we gratefully accept cash contributions. We’ll happily do the shopping for you!
