Every child looks forward to their special day. At Friends of Karen, we ensure birthdays remain a source of joy and hope—even in the midst of a health crisis—by providing birthday gifts for every child in the family, including well siblings.

When parents are fully immersed in caring for a critically ill child, taking care of birthday preparations can feel overwhelming. By handling the gifts and celebration details, we lift a financial and emotional weight off parents’ shoulders so their family can focus on celebrating together.

Monthly Impact: Every month, we send personalized, age-appropriate birthday gifts to 60 to 80 children.
