Richard Sgaglio, a marketing and development professional with more than 25 years of experience, is most proud of his volunteerism and the support he provides for organizations like Friends of Karen. While living in Nevada for a decade, he was co-founder of The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth in Las Vegas. “I’ve always wanted to help young people, whether it be those living on the streets and in need of basic services or families of children with life-threatening illnesses. Each has unique and important needs,” he says. Richard is also a huge animal lover who supports local shelters as well as national efforts to rescue animals that have been orphaned through a natural disaster. “Adopting a rescue animal may not change the world but it definitely changes that animal’s world,” he adds.
A resident of North Salem, Richard earned a B.A in communications, an M.A. in mass media and a doctorate in healthcare administration. He currently is Vice President of marketing and development at The Osborn in Rye, NY.
